1. It is possible to “read” others around us, even if they do not intend for us to catch their unspoken communication.

even if  ，even though 是连词词组, 用来引导让步状语从句, 意为 “尽管; 即使”。

注意:若主句与从句皆表示将来情况, even if 从句可用一般现在时代替将来时。

Eg.（1）We have decided to visit the Museum even if/even though_______ ___tomorrow.    

我们决定明天参观博物馆, 即使天下雨。

2. intend（plan, mean to do）打算,想要企图

3.You should not stand too close to him or her and should stand with your hands a little open to show that you are willing to listen.

析：英语中比较常见的with 的复合结构，即 with + 宾语 + 宾补。在句中一般作状语，表示原因、时间、条件、伴随、方式等。宾语补足语可以有以下几种：

(1)   with + n/pron + 现在分词，表示宾语和和宾补之间的主动和进行。

(2)   with + n/pron + 过去分词，表示宾语和和宾补之间的被动和完成。

(3)   with + n/pron + 不定式，表示将来。

(4)   with + n/pron + 形容词，表示状态。

(5)   with + n/pron + 副词，表示状态。

(6)   with + n/pron + 介词短语，表示位置。

例：

①He is used to sleeping with the door ________. 他习惯于开着门睡觉。

②With so many things _____________, I can’t go on holiday.

我不能去度假，因为有很多东西等着我处理。

③He left the classroom with the light _________. 他没有关灯就离开教室啦。
