一、检查反馈, 导入新课。

检查课前找出的从句是否正确,并纠正错误。

二、目标定位, 确定重点。

1. 会分析句子成分,理解主语从句的含义及其在句中的位置。

2. 掌握主语从句引导词的用法,并熟练做题。

三、自主探究, 教师点拨。

主语从句:在复合句中充当主语的句子叫主语从句。

1. 连接词的选用

1thatwhat的选用

what除起连接作用外,可作从句的主语、宾语或表语。而that在名词性从句中不充当任何成分,无词义,只起连接词作用。

试比较What he wants is a book. 他想要的是一本书

That light travels in straight lines is known to all. 众所周知,光线沿直线运行

2ifwhether的选用

whether引导主语从句,意为“是否”,只起连接作用,不充当任何成分。

(置于句首时必须用whether引导,置于句尾时,间或if) 如:

Whether we will hold a party in the open air tomorrow depends on the weather. 

3其它连接代词和副词的选用

who, which, whom在从句中担当主语、宾语、表语等。

when, where, why, how在从句中充当状语。

如:When we shall hold our sports meet is not decided. 

   Who broke the glass yesterday is not clear. 

4whatever / whoever的功用

whatever, whoever在主语从句中不含疑问意义。它引导主语从句,并在从句中作主语、宾语、表语等。whoever = anyone who

Whoever told you to give up smoking was quite right.

Whatever he gave you should be handed in.

要注意和whatever, whoever引导的让步状语从句的区别。如:

Whoever breaks the law should be punished. (主语从句)

(=Anyone who breaks the law should be punished. 

Whoever breaks the law, he should be punished. (让步状语从句)

(=No matter who breaks the law, he should be punished. 

2. it做形式主语构成的主语从句

由连词that引导的主语从句,在大多数情况下会放到句子的后面,而用代词it作形式主语。如:

It was obvious that the driver could not control his car.

It made us very happy that she was chosen.

  It is certain that he will come.

  It is true that he would take the risk.

  It is well-known that the earth moves around the sun.

常见用it作形式主语的复合句结构:

(1)It + be +形容词+ that-从句
  It is necessary that… 有必要…… It is important that…重要的是

It is obvious that…很明显……   It is likely that….很可能

如:It is necessary that you shouldmaster the computer.

It is important that a student learn English well. 学生学好英语很重要。

(2)It + be + -ed 分词+ that-从句

It is believed that…人们相信 It is known to all that…众所周知

It has been decided that…已决定……

如:It is said that he was killed in the earthquake. 

在表示建议、要求、命令等意义的被动结构中,that从句中的谓语动词常用(shoulddo

It is suggested that the meeting(should)be held this afternoon.

It is demanded that he (should) leave at once.

(3).It + be + 名词 + that从句

It is common knowledge that…  …是常识 It is a surprise that .     令人惊奇的是…

It is a fact that……       事实是……    It is a pity that .        令人遗憾的是..

(4).It + 不及物动词 + that从句

It appears that…    似乎…         It happens that 碰巧…

It occurred to me that……    我突然想起……
