一、检查反馈,导入新课。

二、目标定位,确定重点。

1. 会分析句子成分,理解宾语从句的含义及其在句中的位置。

2. 掌握宾语从句引导词的用法,并熟练做题。

宾语从句在复合句中作宾语的从句称作宾语从句。

可以作动词的宾语,也可以作介词和非限定动词及某些形容词的宾语。

例如:①及物动词后的宾语从句:

I wonder why she refused my invitation……

②介词后的宾语从句:

I always think of how I can improve my spoken English.

③某些形容词后的宾语从句:

We are surprised that he has left without saying goodbye to us

1. that引导宾语从句时,无含义,不充当成分,常省略

that不引导介词的宾语从句除了but, besides, except, in,等介词后跟that引导的宾语从句外,其他介词都不能。in that是“因为”的意思,其余与that搭配都是“除了”。

I knowthatyou have met him.

在以下情况中that不能省略:①当句中的动词后接多于两个由that引导的宾语从句时,第一个that可省,但后面的that不可省。
He said (that) you were too young to understand the matter and that he was asked not to tell you.

②当主句的谓语动词与that宾语从句之间有插入语时,that一般不可省。
Just then I noticed, for the first time, that our master was wearing his green coat.

注意事项:许多带复合宾语的句子,that引导的宾语从句经常移到句子后部,而用it作形式宾语。

例句I find it necessary that we should do the homework on time.

注意主句的谓语动词是think, believe, imagine, suppose, consider, expect, fancy, guess,并且主句的主语是第一人称而且为一般现在时,从句的否定词一般要转移到主句上来。如:

I don't think it will be very cold today.

I don't think you are right.

2. whether, if引导宾语从句,表示“是否”可互换,口语中常用if

  He asked if she would come.

注意下列情况下whether不可用if换:

1)引导主语从句置于句首时。

2)whether or not连用时I don't know whether or not he will come.

3) whether从句作介词宾语时。They are talking about whether he will win the game.

4)whether后接不定式时。I don't know whether to attend the meeting.

5)动词discuss, decide的宾语从句时。

3. 连接代词whatwhowhose等引导的宾语从句。

Tell me what you want.

Do you know who will come at the meeting?

注意 who, whom按照传统语法,从句中who所取代的名词如果是宾语应用宾格whom,但在口语中常用who,如:

Do you know whomwhohe will invite?

whose, which, what三个词都带有形容词性质。whose表示所有,意为“谁的”;which意为“哪一个 ”(上下文暗示有范围),what意为“什么”。如:

Please tell me which school you want to go.

He didn't know what time it was.

4. 连接副词whenwherewhyhow引导的宾语从句。

I don't know when the meeting will be held.

Please tell me where I can find Tom.

5.可用whatever, whoever, whomever, whenever, wherever等引导宾语从句。

Please write down whatever he is saying.

I don't know whoever will come.

6. 关于形式宾语it

表示爱憎情感的动词,如:enjoy, hate, love, like, dislike, dont mind, resent, appreciate(感激)等以及某些介词结尾的短语动词如: depend on, rely on, see to, look forward to, be fond of, feel like, see to, 等后,即使没有宾补也要先接形式宾语it,再接宾语从句。

  I like it when she smiles at me.

I find it necessary that we should ask him for his advice.

我觉得我们有必要征求他的意见。

7. 宾语从句的时态

①主句是一般现在时,从句根据实际情况使用任何时态。
The headmaster hopes everything goes well.

②主句是过去时态,从句须用过去时态的某种形式。(即过去时,过去完成时,过去将来时,过去进行时)
She was sorry that she hadn’t finished her work on time.

③当宾语从句表示的是一个客观真理或者事实时,即使主句是过去时,从句也用一般现在时态。
The teacher told his class that light travels faster than sound.

8. 宾语从句的语序

宾语从句的语序是陈述句语序。

I don’t know what they are looking for.

Could you tell me when the train will leave?
